Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich still sounded optimistic about his chances of becoming the GOP nominee despite coming second in the Sunshine State primary on Tuesday night. The former House speaker managed to garner the support of 31.9 percent of Floridian voters, 14.5 percentage points behind former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.
